About Thaden

The Vision

Thaden wants to create a connection to a women’s inner strength, to unfold and show it off to the world through a wearable piece of art.

At the nexus of design, artisanship and authenticity, a Thaden not only expresses a distinctive aesthetic, but also a mood, an attitude, a personality. In a language of lines, shapes, colours and textures all its own, and universal at the same time. In a language of love, kindness, awareness and strength.

The Woman

Thaden knows no boundaries, and the world holds none for the Thaden Woman.

Whether it’s the confident woman who wants to shine in all colours and uses a Thaden as a multiplier for her aura, or the more timid personality who wants a transmitter for her versatile, strong, but hidden self.

All those who contribute to a Thaden understand that it will fulfill an important role for its new owner. It is an extension of her character, of her personality, always with her, like a talisman. It highlights facets of the owner’s personality that are otherwise less visible. To own a Thaden is to understand and feel this connection. More than a thing of beauty, a Thaden is a thing of substance.  A sign of recognition – of one’s own worth, and that of a greater meaning. Of a shared appreciation of what, ultimately, really matters – you.

Kristina Thaden

Kristina Thaden founded her eponymous Swiss brand in 2020. It was as unexpected as it was inevitable.

Unexpected, because her professional path had taken her into the management and leadership of various companies. Growing and learning as an entrepreneur, she focused for many years on empowering women in leadership, encouraging young women to grow entrepreneurially, and in the organizational development of companies. She has also dedicated her whole life to the performing and visual arts. As an actress, director and writer she has been creating things all her life, starting when she was 6 years old.

The realization that she saw the world differently came at a very young age and with it the constant stream of inspiration, drawing from a multitude of sources – sculptural art, a composition, architecture, paper, streets, a smell, a sound, a human being. Always with the focus on creating a connection from a creation.
